Dominique's
voice
is
playful
and
Dominique
is
17
years
old
and
making
music
that's
making
moves
out
of
the
ghetto
and
reaching
out
worldwide.
Dominique's
neighborhood,
next
to
the
military
control
centre
for
the
war
in
Iraq,
dominates
her
music,
as
a
full-on
barrage
of
sound
that
demands
your
attention. Dominique's
voice
is
playful
and
raw
and
it
is her
flow
that
started
getting
her
a
rep
from
a
very
young
age. Title
track '
Music
Time´
smashes
and
crashes
its
way
on to
the
dancefloor.
Hypnotic,
heavy
and
deep,
it
assaults
you
like
a
trippy
playground
rhyme
that
threatens
to
spiral
out
of
control. It is
urgent
and
joyful
but
carries a
vital
message.
In
her
own
words:
"young
people
on
the
streets
need
to
stop
fightin’
and
just
be
en joyin’
music,
cos
that's
how
we
get
down".
We don't have ghetto's in Belgium, there are some poor parts of Brussels, but still don't think they qualify as ghetto's so I don't really know anything about the gangsta life, but this girl can sing and her songs are cool, so that's all I need to know. Oh, and like she says: ´I’M A HOT GIRL!’. She is that. Check her out.
